May 2008
Stunt Stars, a TV Show from Montreal came out to film me riding and singing. Of course, this meant getting the house, and more importantly, the garage and my motorcycles, looking good enough to film, which is way more stressful than actually being filmed, by the way. They started the sequence on April Littlejohn and me while we were working on Alicia's Book in February and came out here to California to film both of us doing some things in our natural habitat. Felt a little silly at times, like a specimen in a zoo, "Now here we have the stuntwoman putting on here riding gear as she normally does...." "OK, now do that again but pull out of the driveway turning right instead..." That's show biz.

Two days later, it was back to Las Vegas to sing the National Anthem for the Monster Energy Supercross finals which, as always, is a whole lot of fun. I think this is my fourth year singing for the finals and we sooo almost got the timing on the fighter plane fly by right this time. I had to keep holding that last note...and waiting...and waiting, but it seemed to be OK in the end. Got to see a lot of friends I miss and had a wonderful weekend, after which I spent a good few days with my Dad and Emily just relaxing. That was the best part.

February 2008
Back to training and getting ready for the next movie which was Alicia's Book in Spokane Washington Doing stunts for one of the lead actresses, Sara Ann Schulz. It was a pretty miserable shoot in so many ways that I could spend about five pages on that. There were pandemics of flu, pneumonia and strepp going around, I had two injuries and it wasn't the best of times, but I'm glad to be home and back to my other life here where I try to keep things normal. The stunts were fun though, with big acrobatic fights on bars and tables, car chases, crashes and jumps. It's just too bad that we just didn't have any fun while we were doing it.

November 2007
After the Baja 1000 that it was straight to a Day in the Dirt for some time with family and friends and of course a little racing, thanks to the support of Varner Motorsports who provided a fantastic CRF250 for me to ride, and SCV Auto who provided a 150 for my son to ride. I'm totally excited to say that, as predicted, Girlyz Rider, Katie McGuire, took the big win and continues to be the one to watch for next year's women's pro WMA Season. It was a pleasure working with the Girlyz team for the 2007 season and I hope that all these women have a great 2008 season. Go 98!!

October, 2007
Hi Everyone. I'm back from racing the Baja 1000 in Mexico on a team of women sponsored by Shell Oil, Ebay and Goodyear Tires. Our Baja Team had a fantasatic adventure and you can see some pictures here. We did not finish, but that was to be expected as this was a trial year for us and we were in the stock class. I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with Vanina Ickx who has finished the Dakar Rally three times. We look forwad to putting together an efficient and successful team for next year.
